Biography
Mutek Productions is a Gospel Music/Drama production company that has been in business since 1989. We write and produce songs/projects for recording artists and new artists aspiring to break into the industry music industry.
Our songs are written and produced for choirs, solo artists, and groups. We have an extensive catalog that covers various styles and types of songs.
Mutek Productions also writes, directs and produces Gospel stage plays. This department is led by Angie Andrews who truly has the gift and ability to move you to laughter, tears, joy, and pain through her writing.
Chester and Angie have spent the past 17 years in St. Louis, MO. and Chicago, IL. writing and producing Gospel music and performing in Gospel stage plays. Angie has starred as Sparkle which was performed at the Katherine Dunham Theatre in East St. Louis, IL., produced by Richard Greene, starred in “Didn’t It Rain” at the 23rd Street Theatre, St. Louis, MO., written and produced/directed by Jabari and Liana Asim , and starred as Thomas Dorsey’s wife in “The life of Thomas Dorsey”, St. Louis, MO., written and produced by G. Taft Gettys, to name a few. Chester worked as the Music Director/Asst. Music Director for “Didn’t It Rain, The Life of Thomas Dorsey, and “Oh Lord What Now” starring David Peachton and Lacreshia Campbell.
